If you watch The Doors 1991 DVD, which I recommend there's a documentary on it about about the 1991 Doors movie, but also about the real Lizard King Jim Morrison, they interview Doors piano player Ray Manzarek and he essentially says: "Jim Morrison was more than a wild man in skin-tight leathers." Which of course was true, but his rocker/cowboy wardrobe and attitude was a huge part of The Lizard King and attitude. 

During that 1966/67-69 period Jim Morrison was seen everywhere in his black and sometimes brown skin-tight leather jeans, cowboys boots and concho belt, as well as his black leather suit jacket that he wore with his leather jeans. He obviously performed practically everywhere in that outfit, he did interviews, he partied, he traveled, in his free time he wore those pants and boots. 

That is what Oliver Stone picked up upon when he put together his 1991 movie about Jim Morrison. He has about a hour of footage in a two-hour and twenty-minute film about Jim Morrison (with Val Kilmer playing Morrison) in his patented skin-tight black leather jeans and cowboys boots, as well as concho belt. Performances, interviews, parties, even at weddings and churches. You see The Lizard King in his famous Lizard King uniform. The superhero of rock and roll.

Certainly one of the most memorable concerts from The Doors because it was in Hollywood, at The Hollywood Bowl, it was in color, summer of 1968, part of a very crazy and chaotic year and chaotic decade (at least the late 1960s) and The Doors, certainly Jim Morrison represented this era, time and generation as well as it could be represented. 

America was in transition in the 1960s from the Leave it To Beaver 1950s where men were expected to work, get married, have kids and continue to work. Where women were expected to just get married and then stay home and raise their kids. 

By the 1960s the Baby Boomers started coming of age and becoming young adults. And didn't want their parents Leave it To beaver lifestyle and didn't see everything in black and white, including most of the entertainment. And wanted to break out and create their own American culture and lifestyle. Ways of doing things and living and Jim Morrison I believe almost perfectly represents what this generation was going through back then.

The Fast and The Furious is not one of my favorite movies. It is not even one of my favorite movies of this century so far. Which is saying something, because most of the top movies of this era at least in popularity are based on style, what is considered hot, awesome, OMG or whatever. I think you get the idea and special effects as well. 

Modern movies like TFTF which aren’t based on writing, acting and plot, don’t tend to impress me. But I do like Michelle Rodriguez, not just physically as a gorgeous, baby-faced, sexy woman, but as an actress as well. And I like Vine Diesel purely as an actor and these two characters and how they relate in this movie are really the only thing that impresses me about this movie. And they look great together and communicate very well together. They simply go well together as you see in this scene.

Jeans in boots is a classic look that was finally brought back into style in the fall of 2005, Before I was even blogging, I noticed beautiful, sexy women on the streets as I going home from work not just wearing skinny jeans, which also came out that year, but dressing up their skinny denims with blouses, suit jackets, fur jackets and coats, suede jackets, and leather jackets, leather belts, western belts and not just with their boots, which is has been around for women at least since the late 1970s (boots and jeans) but with their jeans in their boots, which also came into style in the late 1970s and went out of style in the late 80s or so. But not it's back for about 10 (jeans in boots) and I don't see it leaving anytime soon.

This woman can give guys the rides of their lifetime seeing her up that close in those tight outfits. And I think Miranda Lambert is completely aware of that and why she dresses and moves like that. This is why guys love country girls, because of their attitude and how they present themselves with their tight bodies and tight outfits that showcase their beautiful sexy curves. 

Miranda as far as face, voice and personality, can certainly come off as a little girl. But her body and style is very mature and very sexy, very grownup. As I said before she's a sexier or even sexy Jessica Simpson. Jessica Simpson who does come off a little girl and at best a teenage valley girl all the time. 

But Miranda has a lot of sex appeal to go with her baby girl adorableness. And the guys here are just seeing Miranda in concert, but seeing her in concert up close. Literally within a few feet of her as she performs, moves around the stage and dances. And they get to check her out the whole time.

The Fast and The Furious is not one of my favorite movies and certainly not a great movie and perhaps not even a very good movie. It is watchable and it is entertaining and has a lot of good car races and car chases. The cast is fairly good, but this movie is mostly a style movie intended on looking cool based on special effects, catch phrases and the people in it.

Not so much on plot and little and perhaps annoying things to young producers and directors today, things like acting and writing. Not a very good movie based on that, but that is not what this movie is about anyway. But perhaps the best three parts of this movie are Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and Letty and Dom together. They actually seem like real people in this movie. And not people trying to be someone else. And they look great and are great together. As you see in this deleted scene.

I haven't seen the full concert of Jim Morrison and The Doors in San Francisco, but I can give a good idea about how Oliver Stone felt about it based on his 1991 movie The Doors. With Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison and Morrison and The Doors, shows up at the San Francisco concert in a limo. 

Of course The Lizard King is rocking his skin-tight black leather jeans and he's wearing his black leather cowboy boots and his concho Indian belt, as well as his brown suede jacket. That is how Morrison tended to perform in the late 1960s and that was a big part of his signature outfit. Except that Morrison tended to wear a black leather suit jacket with his belt, leathers, and boots. But he did wear a suede jacket with the rest of that outfit on a regular basis as well. 

This is the best performance from Val Kilmer (as Jim Morrison) in the movie. The stage is full with San Francisco patrol cops thinking that fans of The Lizard King might try to jump on stage and if anything The Lizard King would invite them, (especially young women) as well as SF cops being there, because they were worried about Morrison doing something crazy as well. But even with that background Val Kilmer gives a great about ten-minute performance performing the song Run.
